One of the latest developments within the new Cambridge CB1 community is at 30 Station Road where Specialist Access Services completed a full builders clean and sparkle clean for R G Carter over the 7 floors of flexible office accommodation to be taken over by Apple.


The 79,000sq. ft contemporary building, described as ‘cube within a cube’ has been snapped-up by Apple, who are seemingly ramping up their Cambridge based research hub by moving to premises which are eight times the size of its current base at 90 Hills Road.

The new Cambridge office’s post construction cleaning contract was worked on by cleaners from SAS Services over two months sporadically, with a big final push in the last couple of weeks where we provided a full sparkle clean to each floor of the building.

Apple first put down roots in Cambridge in October 2015 through the acquisition of VocalIQ, a move that has been seen as a critical one in the development of Apples speech recognition technology, SIRI. The latest office move by the company could signal further advancements in this area.

30 Station Road is positioned opposite Microsoft Research and adjacent to other major upgrades that are concurrent within the Station Road region.
